My Approach
First: a single complementary half-hour consultation where together we identify issues where I might be of help and/or may guide you to more appropriate resources.
Second: we schedule one session to explore the issues together in more detail such that we agree upon, a Therapeutic Goals.
Third: based on the agreed upon therapeutic goals I will bring various methodologies and techniques, learned over 60+ years of life, raising three children and four grandchildren and over 23 years of Professional Practice (including several years of clinical experience) to bear on helping you develop the Skills you can use to achieve these Goals.
NB - some issues be solved in a few sessions and some issues require more time.
Solution Focused Therapy: follows the "only the right result as soon as possible" matters theory and can work on many simpler issues
Psychotherapy: where issues are more deeply rooted in past relationships and experiences a more detailed approach may be better.
